I know they don't have the vision, talent, or time to recreate the nostalgia that many of us feel from the experience we had with Subnautica. You choose how to spend your money.Īs for me, SN:BZ is the first EA game I've ever played, and it has offered me valuable insight into the development team and how they work. You're not getting value out of it and should wait.īut that's your choice. If that sounds like you, then EA's not for you. You want the devs to do their job, make a proper game, and then you'll enjoy it for a fair price. Maybe you have no interest in sorting out the problems with a game. Maybe you'd prefer not to have to deal with bugs. Maybe you'd prefer playing a properly finished game. It's not lost on me that some of that seems unappealing. And most importantly, you get to enjoy a game that otherwise you would have to wait for. ![]() You get to look at the game as it's being developed and give feedback early enough in the development cycle for the developers to actually make changes based on that feedback. You get to play test the game and help them sort out bugs, which is no small task. ![]() ![]() You get access to play the game while it's in development. You're not paying for the full game months to years in advance. It's not really "pay now and get the full game in ". I think the OP is misunderstanding what EA is.
